Now, these won’t work for everyone, but they are really easy so give them a shot. Remember, Delta miles expire after only two years of inactivity now! Grab your Delta SkyMiles number and try these in order:
- 250 miles for a 1-question survey.
- 1,000 miles for signing up for a mailing list.
- 500 miles – similar deal, less miles.
Now grab your Priority Club number and do this survey for 250 points.
Tried all the Delta offers with my own and my husband’s SkyMiles numbers and got the following message:
“We are sorry, the SkyMiles number you have entered is not eligible for this offer.”
I’ve never had any trouble doing the little 250 miles surveys before. Wonder why now? Anyone else get a similar message?
Priority Club worked fine though…
It seems to be targeted. Worked for wife M, didn’t work for me.
The 1,000 survey is also to promote signing up for e-mails, so it may be for people who aren’t signed up for anything.
it didn’t work for me either
Recently I got an offer for 500 miles for an insurance quote from Ameriprise. I filled out the information but they claimed I used the wrong zipcode, thus invalidating my ‘quote’ so I wouldn’t get any miles (received this response via email). I checked the zip code (they had put the information in the email) with the postal service and they said it was correct. I called Ameriprise and they said that since the zip code was marked as PO box delivery only that it wasn’t my home zip code. I called the local post master back and they gave me the number for the person who assigns the zip codes and even they said I had it correct and referred me to the listing on the inside of the phone book. The zip code applied to my town/street was correct but the postal service database has it marked as PO box delivery only due to there being no street delivery (I live less than 500 feet from the post office).
Personally I think that these guys do the ‘sorry you are not eligible’ or ‘you didn’t fill out the forms correctly’ in the old bait and switch routine. Funny how that if I had truely given them the wrong zip code that they were still able to provide me with a quote.
BTW, I also was unable to do the above offers. Maybe because I haven’t actually flown with them in a while (account still active as I rack up about 500-1000 miles a month), who knows.
As how Steve Martin would say it in “Dirty rotten scoundrels”
NICEEEEEE!
Fly with them all the time, still none of the 3 offers worked for me..
Thanks for the headsup John That wasy easy 1250 points!
remember – these dont count towards INACTIVITY expiration!!
i found out the hard way when my 20k miles expired…. these are called BONUS miles… and BONUS miles dont count as valid activity!
They 1000 point one worked for me and no husband. They others didnt work.
I got that all of them are no longer valid and/or have expired. too bad!
