Happy Anniversary and our Newest Addition, James
It’s my wife and I’s 1st wedding anniversary. Since she reads this blog sporadically (mainly to catch any mention of her), I wanted to thank her for putting up with me as a husband for 365 days in a row. Thankfully, we haven’t had any real arguments about money. I think our main area of conflict is that I’m a messy slob. I thought she knew that going in ;P
My gift to her – James, an 8 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel:
Yes, he’s already pretty comfortable around the house, especially on the couch. We got him from the pound, and I think he has “kennel cough“, the doggie equivalent of a cold, even though he’s already been vaccinated for it. I won’t go into the costs of owning a dog, at least for now. We just got done buying all sorts of puppy paraphernalia – leashes, food, treats, flea shampoos, chew toys, beds… Gotta go buy some Febreeze now. Oh, and one of those lint rollers. Hair everywhere!

No comments on the annual cost of keeping a pet? Food, vets, toys, damage… it adds up.
