Tradeking promo appears to be only $50….

The TDAmeritrade offer requires a code from Women&Money Mag. It says
“Enter the offer code found in your copy of
Women & Money ? and open your
Save Yourself account”
Anyone have the code?
Also, any idea if the offer (TradeKing and TDAmeritrade) is valid for current TDAmeritrade a/c holders (if you open a new a/c).

The Tradeking promo is really weird… when I open it with the Firefox browser, I get $100 and ACCESS100. When I open it with Internet Explorere, I get $50 and ACCESS50. Somebody try it and make sure I’m not insane.
The TD Ameritrade code is in the post, I know I’m not that insane

I posted about the TradeKing promo at my BankBonuses blog. The promo comes up $50 for me too but you can replace the ACCESS50 code with the ACCESS100 code when you fill out the application and you should get the $100 bonus.

Jonathan:
I missed the code when I read in a hurry this morning; my apologies.
However, I do see the promotion as $100 in both firefox and IE.

Any hard credit pull?

I see both $100 in Firefox 1.5 & IE 5.2

Can we milk Tradeking for any more? They offer a $50 referral bonus on the main page…what do you think, Jonathan? Can we combine them?
I got $50 in Firefox 1.5 and $100 in Explorer 7.0

Just wanted to say, even tho the $100 Tradeking bonus seems over, that I took advantage of the offer and did my $4.95 trade (market OR limit–that’s really good) and got my $100 bonus deposited almost immediately. Great tip! Keep ‘em coming, Jonathan. One thing I like about opening these peripheral accounts is that I deposit anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000, buy some long-term investment, get the promo bonus, and then ignore it (well, I do check it once in a while). It’s sort of saving without even trying.

The Tradeking offer is frustrating–ACH took forever to be approved and you can’t trade until funds are confirmed.

Is the tradeking offer valid only for US citizens? I am not a U.S. citizen but have a SSN. I am interested in opening up an account with them. Do I qualify for the $100 bonus?
thanks!

Jonathan - I don’t know if there are other people who signed up the Save For Yourself Plan, but they just changed their transfer fee to $75 for any transfers outbound. In addition to that, the options are very limited and costly to invest in anything for $50/month. I feel stuck now after putting in the first $50 and don’t know whether I should quit or not.

Yeah, I just noticed that the transfers out went from free to $50. So much for my plan of transferring to Zecco after the 6 months to avoid another $4.95 commission. Guess I’ll wait the 6 months, sell, and close out. Tradeking is nice, but they can’t beat the free commissions on Zecco.

Anyone know as on May 25, 2007 if there is a $100 Promotion at Tradeking? What’s the Promo Code? Thanks guys!

Diana - Don’t transfer out, just take out your money and close the account.

[...] skimming my new Suze Orman eBook, I ran across her SaveYourself promotion that I blogged about almost a year ago, but is still going on for a little while [...]

Does anybody know if there is a hard credit pull for the AmeriTrade offer? In the middle of refinancing, so it matters right now
Thanks.

i opened a save yourself account last week, and i am almost certain it did NOT ask me for any type of code to enter. Does this mean i still got the offer? I remember seeing a link to it in google. i just want to be sure that there is not some catch i missed
