- 1 Free Express Delivery ($10 estimated value). Get stuff within 1-hour or 2-hours. Available to paid Walmart+ members only. One time use during 4/28/25 – 5/4/25. Express Delivery discount applied at time delivery is scheduled and order is placed. No order minimum.

I joined Walmart+ in the past, but I didn’t really find value in it. I mostly just use the pickup service because my experience with their delivery service hasn’t been the best (broken/missing items, unexpectedly cancelled deliveries, etc). I suspect this varies by location. I prefer their pickup service as you can add items up until pretty last-minute, and then you can also reject their substitutions all the way up to the time of pickup.
I did notice that Walmart+ members can now use Scan & Go at Walmart (this is popular at Sam’s Club for faster checkouts).
Walmart+ is also offering all expired Walmart+ members a “half off” $49 Discounted Membership Offer until 5/4/2025. If I grabbed all of the Walmart+ Week offers that are actually useful to me, it adds up to about $25. It would be easy to start the 6-months of Paramount+ and use Scan & Go. Is a net price of $25 worth it? 🤔

I got the Walmart+ half off last Black Friday. At this point, I may break even by November. I won’t be renewing it.
walmart+ delivery is wonderful in North Jersey. Not so great for my son in Gainesville Florida. We are yet to find an Exxon Station that knows how to use Walmart+ at their pumps. I even went to two different stations with the Walmart+ adverts on the pumps. Still, neither could get it to work. I suppose YMWV. Literally.
I went to two Exxon stations too Stuart, and couldn’t get it to work and the employees couldn’t help. But then I thought to update the app, and then the app immediately knew where I was and asked what pump I was at. Smooth sailing from there, and got the 50 cents per gallon off.

Walmart+ is 1000x better than Amazon. I only did it because of Amex and wasn’t sold on it, but I found Walmart often had items at same price as Amazon, cheaper for items Amazon didn’t sell directly, and both had a ton of 3rd parties. With Walmart my typical order I might place in the morning and it arrives in afternoon or next day. Amazon takes 2-3 days on average for me in Houston. Amazon is great, but I found I prefer Walmart.
Another huge plus is Walmart used to be on a lot of cash back sites. They aren’t as much not but you can find them on a couple still.
