Time flies when you’re havin’ fun. Continued from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Quarter flashbacks. Here are what I feel are the more worthwhile posts to read from my blog from September to November 2005.

September
» Brainstormed options for keeping an Emergency Money Fund.
» Worked out How To Predict I-Bond Savings Bond Rates, even before the official rate announcements.
» Started my very popular $10 Sign-up bonus for EmigrantDirect, a no-fees no-minimums savings account currently offering a 4% interest.
» Revealed that, once again, I am just a simple college student, trying to get by.

October
» Explored starting my own online business, including possible storefront options. I still plan to open this store sometime in 2006.
» Started my Bored Money series on making some dough while stuck at work or simple surfing the internet. Methods varied from inviting spam to taking surveys to skimming cash back.
» Discovered U.S. Treasury Bills as a great safe investment due to their tax advantages for many people.
» Talked about how to figure out if the above-mentioned tax advantages are really worth it.

November
» I was relieved to see that my I-type Savings Bond rate predictions were correct.
» Ran across a great low-cost cellular phone carrier, who I want to switch to once my current contract runs out.
» Out of the many deals I post, here is one of the easiest ways to make $100-$200 free with a simple credit card application, with the added opportunity to later play the 0% APR game.
» Thought I was clever and tried to flip Xbox 360’s and failed to recognize the amount of people with spare time out there.

  2. The link in.. “Revealed that, once again, I am just a simple college student, trying to get by” is broken. Just fyi.

  3. Thanks Flexo & Doug, fixed it.
