Groupon has a national deal today where you can get $15 worth of credit at eBay for only $7. Nearly 25,000 have been bought already.

Limit 1 per person. Limit 1 per order. Valid only on eBay.com in the U.S. Must have a registered eBay and PayPal account. Credit card info may be required at checkout. Not valid towards service fees. No cash back. May apply value toward tax & shipping. May use over multiple visits.

If you don’t have a Groupon account already (what!?), please use my sign-up link, and I’ll get some Groupon credit for referring you. Then visit the deal link. Thanks!

  1. Can’t find this anywhere on the Groupon site. I can only find it from your link…

Are you sure it isn’t a scam?

  2. Yes, it’s legit.

    1) Check the domain that you end up at. It should end up at http://www.groupon.com. Unless someone hacked the entire site, you can’t made that up.

    2) Alternatively, type in www dot groupon dot com slash deals slash ebay

The site worked for me. I paid $7 for my $15 ebay coupon.

I noticed that the site allows you to buy only one coupon.

On other groupon deals, they will allow you to buy one for yourself and additional coupons to give to others. You are not supposed to use those additional coupons. But how will the store enforce this? If I buy one coupon for me and three for “gifts”, and I have one year before expiration, couldn’t I take the “gift” coupons one at a time to the store if I wait a month in between? Or go to a different location that accepts the same coupon?

  4. Perfect timing – I rediscovered my love for ebay recently so this is great!

Groupon and other mass, huge coupons are great if you live in a city where the services are accessible, not out in rural Putnam County like I do, where the closest large city, Gainesville is 40 miles away. Doesn’t work, either, in mine and many other like circumstances — retired, senior, living on a fixed income with no money extra except to cover food, lodging and utilities! like after next month’s bills, I will have $19.96 in the bank! Can’t do too many spas and perks even at reduced costs! It’s nice though to read about them, I get the notifications in my email every day!

  6. I got this offer from Groupon:

Earn $5 Groupon Bucks when you use the Groupon mobile app to purchase a deal.* But hurry, this offer is only valid through April 8, 2011.

I installed the app. But I cannot purchase the Ebay deal on my android phone. Dose anyone know how?
