I’ve been getting my butt kicked by a bout of food poisoning, so posting will be light this week. Fever, chills, sweats, and I haven’t been able to keep down any solid food in over 48 hours. Blech.

  1. Not fun. Get some food grade clay, disolve in water and drink it down. That has worked for me amazingly well.

  2. Feel better soon!

  3. Patricia says

    Hope you get better soon.

  4. Food poisoning for over 48 hrs is serious business. I think you should call the doctor if the fever doesn’t subside. A relative of mine passed away this way a while back (true story).

I hope you feel better soon.

  5. It might be too late already but activated charcoal pills might help. Best wishes that you feel better soon.

  6. Get well soon!

  7. Can I Blaine your eat bellow the line project 🙂 i hope you feel better

  8. I hope this doesn’t warrant a hospital visit but don’t wait too much longer! You can get dehydrated rather quickly. Wishing you a good recovery!

  9. Nargaret says

Get well soon — we need you here.

  10. Sorry to hear! Get well soon.

  11. Good god, hope you recover for the weekend. Feel better.

  12. I know how that feels and it is the worst! Stay hydrated and feel better soon!

  13. Hope you feel better soon!!

  14. I really appreciate all the get well wishes. I do feel much better today, had some yogurt and overcooked rice in chicken broth. I’ve been drinking a lot of Gatorade, I have a weakness for fake-orange-flavored gatorade when I’m sick. I really am not sure what happened, or if it was some sort of weird flu.

Food-grade clay and activated charcoal, not sure if I could have kept down either of those things but I’ll consider them next time, although hopefully that will be many years from now…

  15. Whoa, baby. I was so sick a few months ago. Just horrible. Get well soon, dude!

  16. That’s the cool thing about your blog Jonathan..it is that you don’t have minions to write for you – because we like you to write. Even a blogger needs some time to be sick. Rock on!

  17. @Amy – Thanks! By the way, I love using the word “minions”. 😉
