I've been getting maybe one paid survey, and perhaps 2-3 non-paying "household questionnaires" a month, and the non-paying questionnaires seem to be getting longer each time (the last one took me almost 20 minutes to do!) Additionally, they used to give you at least a week to complete; now they have cut it down to 3-4 days. Plus, they are making you install software so you are unable to steal their marketing images (seriously, who would?)

What I'm getting at is what comes down to $3/hr. once a month seems hardly worth the trouble anymore... I should probably just work an hour of OT at work at 13x the rate!

I see this a legit business model as anything else. What I am curious, on the other hand, is how much profit those operations cost. Obviously, the companies will need to spend some money on a lot of TV advertisement. But those are late night junk yard rate, not prime rate. Employees work from home, so that part of cost is low as well. All these underground businesses are very interesting to look at from a business prospective.
