  1. Thanks for the code, I was already planning on making a transfer this month!

  2. I recently researched webhosting and domain registration providers and found that overall 1and1 provided a better deal than GoDaddy. GoDaddy has a low entry price like the 99c special but then nickel and dimes you excessively for any other add-ons you really need.

Keep in mind that if you are doing something that might offend someone, Go Daddy is the wrong choice. They are well know for deleting web sites that draw complaints.

  4. GoDaddy is aweful for starters. They dont disclose their fees and pricing structures upfront. While it’s $1 special, add additional services that most people get with it andyou add $4.74/month for smartspace, extra $10/yr for deluxe service, and extra $2.99/yr for certified domain seal from godaddy, plus add hosting and your domain with either economy 10gb/300gb bandwidth at 3.99/mo or deluxe 150gb space/1500gb bandwidth at 5.59/mo, and soforth. Plus, it’s because of GoDaddy that I get more junk, spam, ad emails. Their aweful. People should consider something like DreamHost, or others that are more reputable.

  5. Godaddy will cost you more if you plan on having a website for more than a year. Go with 1and1 or namecheap. You’ll be happier.

As for offending someone, you’d think godaddy wouldn’t care, with its raunchy tv commercials. I personally don’t support companies like that due to my moral convictions and switched to namecheap after their first commercial got kicked from the superbowl a few years ago.

  6. That one didn’t work for me but this one just did: GODADDY99
