Don,

There is no credit check. You simply open an account. Then you pay 25 bucks for the debit card (don't need the preferred card just get the regular). The points are credited to your Continental account in about 6 weeks.

Keep in mind if you do not make 6 purchases with the card per billing cycle, there is a 6 dollar account fee. So I make like a 5 dollar gas purchase, another small gas purchase, a small 7-11 purchase, etc. until I get 6 purchases per month. Then there is no fee.

You have to keep the account open for either 3 or 6 months (I forget) or there is a 25 dollar fee to close it. All in all this is a great deal for a free round trip ticket. You pay 25 to get the debit card and then even if you close the account it costs another 25 so for 50 bucks you can fly round trip. This is a SWEEEEEEEEET deal in my book.

I opened my account about a month ago and I already got the miles. Go to continental.com and sign up for there mileage program (free to sign up) before you open the Chase account.

Help,

I opened my account in the branch just like farulg and the Chase person put my Continental Onepass number in for me. Beware, they will try to sell you the "preferred" card for 65 bucks, just get the regular debit card for 25 bucks. It still works and you still get the 25000 miles. If they say it is just for preferred (which they did to me) have them read the fine print note in the web add. It is for either debit card.

Help, I did the application at a Chase branch last week and the guy helping me out actually put the OnePass account number in. I'm not sure how this is done if you apply online, would love to know since my wife is interested to apply too!

I went through the application process; but stopped short because it never asked for me to enter my Continental OnePass account number. How are they going to post my OnePass Miles without knowing which OnePass account to post it to?!?!

Do I need a "great" credit score or just an "average" credit score to get an airline rewards card? Orbitz's required score and assets are too high for me. I don't have a Chase banking accuont either so I will be looking into this. Question: Does JPM let you buy many small cap stocks, because I like to play the OTCBB stockst at microcapreports and sometimes larger brokerages lack research and/or won't let you buy them?

I just can't begin to tell you how marvelous your blog is. It is an integral part of each day for me and often has critical information that I need to know. Today's article on the Chase Bank Continental Airlines miles offer is a perfect example.

Thank you so very much for all that you do!
