$25 Gift Card For Opening Wells Fargo Account
Found this while looking for a better business checking account - Wells Fargo is offering a $25 SuperCertificate for opening a checking or savings account with them by 4/30. It seems to be open to both new and current customers, per the fine print. I need to call them to see if it applies to business accounts too.

That’s not too bad. Can’t make that $25 grow, but it’s still a free $25. I’ll have to read the fine print to see if there’s a time limit on how long you have to keep the account open.

I wonder if you can get a $25 Gift Card twice if you open up both a Savings Account and a Checking Account?

I heard from Clark Howard (same show I heard about this site through) to stay away from Wells Fargo. They have a HORRIBLE customer service rating. They don’t treat customers very well. Take the free money but that’s it.

I had B of A and switched to Wells Fargo back in October, and I have actually been very impressed with them (as I was cautious). Their customer service in branches, through e-mail, and especially on the phone has been superior to that of B of A. I have never had to wait on hold when calling them, they’re available 24/7 (unlike B of A), and the reps always speak clearly, are very friendly, and understand my questions (also unlike B of A).
As for account options, it still bugs me that they don’t offer free bill pay w/ most accounts (but I have the college account, so everything is free).
