I just tried to send a referral from my ING account and was told the Refer-a-Friend program is suspended.
Anybody know anything about this?

Strange. I just received 3 other people’s referrals last night and one person’s today, so this must be a recent thing. It also says that all referrals that were already sent out stay valid, so that’s good.

Yeah, I have a lot of referrals out right now. They’ve been trickling slowly in. I just went to send out another batch and was scorned.

I’m not seing anything about a suspension when I just tried a referral. Do you get it on going to the referral page or the final step of sending it?

Good move Jonathan - when we made this move at savingadvice a few months ago, we doubled our conversion rate.

Hmm. I just got another referral from someone today, so it’s definitely not everyone.

WORLD SAVINGS has a 5.01 liquid CD for 5 months. Minimum $5,000.00, but withdrawls and deposits in amounts of greater than $100.00 available above that.
CHECK IT OUT. World Savings.

d#$%!
I didn’t realize you needed a referral for the $25 bonus and I just signed up 2 accounts for my kids, both over $250. Would it make sense to close them at some point and reopen to get the bonus? Would that even work? Missing out on a free $50 is infuriating!

Miker - Maybe, but I don’t think so. I know they keep track of SSNs so you can’t open multiple account for multiple bonuses.
Don’t worry, there are plenty of opportunities for ‘free’ money out there. Stay tuned
