Free iTunes For Learning To Manage Your Money

Penn State Federal is giving out a free Apple iTunes download for watching each of their online money courses, targetted toward us young folk. I just watched the ‘101: How To Shop For Everyday Savings’ lesson, which taught me about getting the best food value by comparing per-unit prices. They are really cheesy, but the messages are still good if a bit basic. Nothing like offering something you don’t need to entice you to learn financial responsibility! =) Link via Flyertalk.

I’m doing the 1st course now. And from what i’m doing it’s kind of amusing but useful for those who need graphic to deal with money managment.

Seems like bored money to me… ;)

  3. Jonathan Says:

True… it may be good for parents with iPod-addicted teens as well. Hey, can you resell iTunes codes on eBay?

    (goes off to check)

I see a couple auctions for codes. I’m sure there’s a rule against it somewhere…

  4. Mike Says:

    Awesome! Good deal! Thanks.

  5. Genevieve Says:

The courses take a long time to get through, and you can’t speed them up. Kind of a pain for $1.

  6. Jonathan Says:

But think of the knowledge you’re gaining! =)

  7. Nick Says:

The only problem is that it is eMusic, which is nice if you like more hidden bands, but not so nice if you don’t like those, and want top 40. I personally don’t care because it has flobots and Run DMC, but that jusout there for you guys to know. Also, you get 4 downloads each one.
