Bored Money: Pinecone Research Online Surveys

Pinecone Research is a consumer opinion research group that polls people via online surveys and occasionally by actually sending you out product samples to review. In exchange for your feedback, they mail you a $5 check for each online survey you complete for them. Each survey takes about 15 minutes. It has a homegrown-feel to it, so I try to answer all the questions honestly (although I still don’t give out my home phone number).

The catch is that they are usually closed to new members, so it is really hard to join their panel. But this week happens to be Open Recruitment Week, so sign up right now if you’re interested! I’ve probably gotten around $100 from them, the $5 checks seem like nothing but you get one about every two weeks and it adds up! I’ve also received a bunch of free food items to review.

Excellent…I’ve been waiting to be able to sign up since the other two I have are not really providing the goods. Love the “bored money” concept!

I’ve only gotten $10 from them, but at least they deliver the goods.. and their surveys are actually not that boring.

I hate the ones that just keeps asking you if you drink or smoke, and if you do whats your preferred type etc. etc.

  5. fivecentnickel.com Says:

Cool. I just signed up. It only took about ten seconds to do so. Thanks!

  6. pfadvice Says:

Seems it’s now redirecting to the homepage or am I the only one having this problem? (it happens sometimes being in Japan)

  7. Jonathan Says:

They seem to be changing the website around, or they may end the “recruitment week” early. Check out the main page, there should be also be a link there.

  8. jim Says:

Just visit the homepage directly and click on the scrolling marquee, they probably have a referer check to prevent that signup link from being posted on forums or something.

  9. Poe Says:

I just signed up as well. I havn’t received a confirmatory email from them though. Anyone have an idea of how long they take to get back to you?

  10. Mirasol Says:

Hey Jonathan, this is kind of off topic, but what do you think of Paid to Autosurf sites like Studiotraffic?

I’ve been doing it since March of this year and have made some profit. But I’d really appreciate your opinion on it. Please check out their forum.

PS Stormpay also just started their own Paid to Click too.

  11. eve Says:

Hmm… it took me to the main webpage and clicking on the scrolling text does nothing …

  12. Jonathan Says:

Sign-up period was for a limited time and is now over. Sorry you didn’t get in.

  13. Dog Says:

    is this still available?

  14. angela renae Says:

I am wondering if it’s still available too.
