Monthly Deals & Offers Update

Here are the updates from the Deals & Offers I have posted recently (It’s been a while, my last update was in March). As usual, I try to only post the offers that I think are good enough to apply for myself. I have omitted ones that are no longer available. See original posts for details.

$25 free opening bonus, 3.00% APY from ING Direct Orange Savings Account - Got my $25, decent rate, lots of people have signed up without any problems (or at least nobody had mentioned it to me).

$25 free for registering with GreenZap - Site hasn’t started yet, very vague, but they only require a name and an e-mail, so why not? I signed up.

$20 free opening bonus, 3.05% APY from VirtualBank eMoney Market Account - Same as ING: got my $20, decent rate, lots of people have signed up without any problems.

5.00% APY interest in 3,4, and 5 year CDs at PenFed - Rate sounded good, so I opened up a $5,000 CD with them.

Free “Smart Money Management Workbook” from American Express - Got the book in a couple weeks. Don’t use your real telephone number unless you want them to call. It’s small and I haven’t read it yet, but hey, it’s free.

Presidential Online Checking now pays 3.25% APY - I’ve had this account for a while, it’s great if you have direct deposit. I’m going to write a better review on it later.

TiVo discount subscrption for only $6.95 per month - Got the discount, worth a try if you’ve got TiVo.

$250 for Applying to Two Credit Cards from Charles Schwab & Sony - Applied and received the cards in about a week. Activated and used the cards, but no sign of bonuses yet (too early).
