Despite some last-minute scares, for those keeping track of the Advanced Nutraceuticals reverse split that I am participating in, it looks like there has been some progress. From their most recent SEC filings and more specifically this press release:
Advanced Nutraceuticals, Inc. announced today that in connection with its Annual Meeting held on September 8, 2006 all items submitted to the Company?s shareholders were approved… As a result of the reverse stock split and following the re-purchase by the Company of fractional shares resulting from the reverse stock split on the basis of $4.00 per share, there will be fewer than 300 shareholders of record of the Company?s common stock. Prior to the termination of the registration of the Company?s common stock, shares will be traded on the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board under the Company?s new symbol: BTCP.OB… On September 8, 2006, the Company?s lender verbally agreed to waive the $1.0 million cap on the amount of funds available for the fractional share re-purchase.
Above is only an excerpt, but things are looking up. The chickens haven’t quite been hatched yet though, so don’t count ‘em.

Looks like you (and I) were not the only ones to purchase on the hopes of a reverse split. Now the board is reconsidering – guess we’ll wait and see…

The date on that report is August 31st (a month ago) – the reverse split has already occurred and we’re just waiting to get our cash. The powers that be really wanted this reverse split to happen…

Cash arrived in my account today for the former Advanced Nutraceuticals. You might have also received cash today as well.

I got cashed out by TD Ameritrade yesterday – so people should be seeing this money soon.

Yup – mine came in for a cool $280 return in a little over a month. Not bad at all!
